Marci is honored to volunteer for the Gold Rush Cure Foundation. In 2014 her son, David, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He spent 3 ½ years in treatment at CHOC and has just reached 7 years in remission. During David's treatment, they were introduced to Sandy and the Gold Rush Cure Foundation. David was an honored hero at the GRCF Gala in 2017. Now, both mom and son, make helping other newly diagnosed patients a priority. They lend an ear to families who need it, and David visits other patients when possible. Marci and her husband live in Fullerton, CA with David and their younger son, Josh. They enjoy traveling, watching their boys play baseball and appreciating the time they have with a healthy family.
